Say Việt Foundations — learn to read, sound by sound

Before the first lesson, the first letter. Foundations opens with three interactive boards where your child hears every Vietnamese letter, vowel and tone mark in Cô Vi's voice, taps to hear it again, and says it back while she listens. In 30 minutes or less, most kids go from zero to sounding out their first words like má, bà and cá.

1. Step 1Bảng chữ cáiAlphabet — 29 letters: the name and the sound, an example word with a picture, and Cô Vi explaining in Vietnamese then English with karaoke highlighting.
2. Step 2Nguyên âmVowels — the 12 vowels in their families, a mouth guide for each, tap any vowel to hear it.
